Compare the same type of measurement, using the same unit.
1. Prepare to measure
For garment measurements, use a similar piece that fits well, laid flat without stretching. For body measurements, follow the points shown in the chart.
2. Compare matching measurements
Follow the chart headings. Flat width is measured from edge to edge; it is not the same as a body circumference.
3. Check the fit
